This is a free web site for all Independent Volunteers: Gap year Students, Gap Year Grannies, Backpackers and Travellers who want to volunteer without paying huge fees. This web site is intended to dispel the myth that you have to pay large sums of money to volunteer.
We wish to create a web venue where people can share their experiences, good or bad and get in touch with the smaller organisations that really need them.
We need postings from:
Charity Organisations who need Volunteers but will not charge them large fees. While it is reasonable to charge fees for services provided e.g. food and accommodation we feel it is unreasonable to charge large fees for arranging volunteer work. Many people are not volunteering because they cannot afford the fees to volunteer.
